Heads or Tails Guard
Today’s Heads or Tails theme is the word Guard. Call me crazy but I love to sew and sooooo I had to think of how the word guard fit into today’s meme. Then it struck me! I was telling my daughter what I would like for Christmas and mentioned needing bobbin guards. These are bobbin guards.
They look a bit like hair wraps don’t they?! These are not the only kind of bobbin guards out there. I really like the plastic ones better but I loaned my sewing machine to a friend. My plastic bobbin guards are in the storage compartment of that machine and so I couldn’t get a picture of those guards.
There you have it! Guards. To see what others thought of for the word guard, be sure to check out Heads or Tails.

Now this is a different take on the theme
I do not sew, but my Mom sewed a lot so I knew what these are
And yes they do look like pretty hair scrunchies

Sue, be sure to look at my post above this so you can see how much Brody looks like your dog.
Sewing is on my list of “things to learn to do.” I admire anyone who can do something so creative!
I haven’t done any sewing for years but I remember having bobbin tails clustering into a nasty knot and pulling out several other bobbins which fell to the floor and rolled under ‘things’. I’m glad to learn about these guards in case I take up sewing again.

I had never heard of bobbin guards, so I learned something. I loathe sewing myself although I had to learn to tailor when I was a teenager.
Yes, that is exactly what the guards are used to prevent. All those tangled up messes of thread. I am so glad someone knows! LOL
Oh no. That is the difference between sewing for enjoyment and sewing for a living. I could never sew for other people.
Oooh, I love pretty colors! Love your take on the theme, too!
