Four Foods on Friday #53

October31

Here are the questions and answers for Four Foods on Friday.

#1. What kind of pretzels are your favorite?
I love to buy the ones they sell in the mall. I like that salt they put on them.

#2. What’s your favorite way to eat pancakes? plain with butter and maple syrup

#3. Do you make garlic bread from scratch or buy frozen?
Out of the freezer

#4. Share a recipe that calls for mozzarella cheese.
This is a great recipe when you are having a crowd of people over. My sister, Grace, gave it to me.

PIZZA CASSEROLE
1 bag dumplin’ noodles
1 lb ground beef and/or sausage (I use Bob Evans hot sausage)
1 large jar chunky garden style spaghetti sauce
chopped onion
1 pkg pepperoni slices
green and/or black olives sliced
1 pkg (24 oz)mozzarella cheese grated

Boil and drain noodles. Fry meat, and when nearly browned, add onions. Drain the grease. Add the sauce and olives to the meat and heat. Line the bottom of a 9×13 baking dish with noodles. Pour meat and sauce mixture over the noodles. Line pepperoni on top of sauce. Sprinkle cheese on top. Bake at 350 degrees for 20 minutes.

That recipe looks really yummy, but I admit I’d have to omit the pepperoni and olives. :-)

My answer – coconut pancakes! I swear, this is the best thing I’ve tasted in my life. Sounds weird but I suggest you try it.
