Oh boy! Tomorrow we are going to a wedding in the southern part of Indiana. Little Katie is getting married. I cannot believe she has graduated from college and is getting married. I hope I don’t cry. I am amazed that I got the wedding gift wrapped. I am usually in a rush at the last minute. We got Katie and Tim a carpet cleaning machine. I thought that was fitting since we own a carpet store. LOL

I am so disgusted by all the ants in my house. Hubby told me to contact an exterminator and so I am looking at ratings. I don’t want just any fly by night company putting pesticides around my house. I saw a large picture of a termite on Kill the Termite’s website. Man are they gross! Hubby has torn up a few sub floors and found that the floor underneath was full of termites. They are horrible and must be dealt with professionally. It is amazing how much damage a termite can cause. If I had termites, I would definitely call Kill the Termites. For now, I will keep searching for a solution to controlling these gross ants.

I have been working on a baby quilt that I started in a class. We learned a new way to make flying geese quilt blocks. It requires a special ruler that is quite nifty. We had a choice to make a boy or girl quilt and mine is for a girl. I like the way it is turning out because I change the way the pattern told me to lay it out. It did not look symmetrical to me. I have to have things balanced.
This is the quilt the teacher made. Do you see how the blocks are only on one side?
