Wordless Wednesday
This nest was found in a bush in our back yard. It had a white egg and a blue egg. The blue egg disappeared. I have heard that there is a bird who lays her eggs in other bird’s nests. Maybe she did that and the owner kicked that egg out. It is a cruel world!

the blue ribbon is such a thought provoking addition, it always catches my eye when I see a hard working little bird bustling about proudly gathering little twigs and stuff to build with, and then imagine the pride in finding a bright blue little ribbon to add to the craft and construction of the next…. very nice
