Hubby and I were watching the news last night when we heard about The Royal Channel that has been introduced on YouTube. It seems as though the Queen Mother is really into pushing some historical videos onto the web for all the world to see. You can see them at YouTube. I was picturing this little old lady sitting at her laptop all day while uploading videos but then hubby reminded me that the commentator said she has someone do it for her. She never learned to type! Can you imagine being so privileged that you never got the chance to do anything for yourself? I think I would lose my mind having someone involved in every aspect of my life. Anyway, I think it is cool to be able to view the videos. You can see videos of the Queen’s 1923 wedding and I just finished watching the 1957 first televised Christmas broadcast. I found the video of the Royal Household to be one of great interest. I love to delve into the workings of famous households. It was fascinating.
