I would love having a fresh, real Christmas tree. We have an artificial tree that is pretty but it just is not the same. For one thing, an artificial tree does not have that wonderful aroma that a real tree does.

I remember why we don’t have a real tree when I look at how much they cost! It is crazy what is asked for a real Christmas tree. I would have to buy one that could be planted if I were to spend the kind of money I see the trees sold for in our area. I also remember the mess. I am still finding pine needles from when we had our real tree. That was a long time ago! LOL Another reason we won’t have a real tree is that my dog, Brody, thinks anything real needs to be watered. He likes to lift his leg on real and artificial plants. I think he would smell a real tree and think it needed a tinkle.
