The Internet and Education

November3

The Internet is helping parents of students in our school systems, stay in touch with teachers. If teachers take the time to organize their schools program to fit their individual needs, there are many ways the Internet can be beneficial. Besides the point of teachers and parents being in touch, they can also help in other ways. If a student has had a traumatic experiences such as the passing of a grandparent, it is best to let the teacher know. The teacher can be helpful to the student in the weeks to come. Grades can be posted before report card time. Posting grades early can help a parent steer their child to work harder in areas of concern.

The Internet can be a place to post special events and field trip so you can dress your child accordingly. Volunteer lists can be posted so parents can sign up when needed.

There are so many ways the Internet can help in our child’s education.
