Sensitive Teeth

November3

It wears me down when my teeth hurt. Every year, during the fall season, my bottom teeth throb. I have asked the dentist to check out my teeth. He has taken x-rays and cannot find anything wrong. He recommends that I use toothpaste made for sensitive teeth. Well, I have used that kind of toothpaste for ten years and my teeth still ache when the weather changes. I am thinking that it must have something to do with my sinuses. I have been so irritated with this achy feeling that I have used baby teething gel. It helps some but I don’t like the mess it makes in my mouth.

So here I am again. It is fall, the temperatures are dropping and my teeth hurt. I started wearing my mouth guard at night to see if that helps. Maybe I am grinding my teeth. I am thinking that I am doomed to having achy throbbing teeth.

The stars must be aligned! I was so excited to receive a sample of Biotene sensitivity toothpaste yesterday. I could not wait to try it! The packaging says, “Biotene is a one-of-a kind toothpaste which builds increasing protection against sensitivity while the natural immune boosting enzymes promote healing of bleeding gums and irritation caused by a dry mouth.” That sounded like this might be my lifesaver and so I tried it.

Last night, before I went to bed, I used the new toothpaste. The flavor was very good and it didn’t have a chalky texture that I found with the other sensitive toothpastes. I popped in my mouth guard and went to bed. This morning I used Biotene again and I hope it isn’t wishful thinking because I can already feel a difference!

I am so thankful for Biotene sensitive toothpaste. I have read all the information on their website and I still cannot believe I found them!

Added:My old “sensitivity” toothpaste, (that was a waste of money), went into the trash. On Biotene’s website, I typed in my zipcode and found that I can buy Biotene toothpaste at my local drugstore. I am telling you, this stuff works. I love Biotene and I am going to tell my dentist to start recommending it. All these years of trying different products and after two brushings, my teeth feel better.
