Today was a wonderful day for getting caught up. Our laundry was beginning to breed and multiply. I was able to hang jeans and shirts out on the clothes line to dry. It was a little chilly so it took them longer to dry but they did and now they smell so good.

Lynn and I sat down and went over the schedule to make sure we have everything ordered for the jobs coming up over the next few weeks. There is nothing worse than to go to install a customers floor and not have the material! Not a good thing. So we double checked all of the orders and it looks like we are ok.

Lynn got new estimates figured and I will get those typed tomorrow. I also have a few phone calls to make. I need to call 5 customers and verify that they know the dates of their installations. I also need to call the dog boarder and make reservations for the dogs to stay. It is getting close to our trip to Vegas! I am trying to get things done so we don’t feel rushed. We are going to enjoy our trip.

I got so sleepy this afternoon after doing laundry. I put my new shredder together and finally got rid of a pile of papers that “somebody” was going to burn but never got to doing it. I bought a heavy duty shredder that crosscuts. I gave up buying the cheaper shredders. I jam them by putting too many sheets in at one time. I know I do it and tell myself I won’t on the next new shredder but then I do it again. This shredder can shred up to 15 sheets at a time. Woo hoo! I’ll be a shredding fool!

I got a few more file folders filled and emptied the rubber maid containers all the files were in. I still have two empty drawers in my new file cabinets. That will change soon. I have stuff that needs to be moved into those drawers. It is just finding the time to do it.

I also got my new roll of film put into the fax machine. It is purring now. Jack put a phone line in my office. Now I have the business phone and the fax machine where they are convenient.
