California Fires

Our newspaper told of a man from our town who had recently taken his family to visit friends in California. They were not able to stay and visit because the friends were being evacuated due to the awful fires in southern California. He said it was like something out of a movie. It was bumper to bumper traffic as residents were making a mad exodus from the area.

I am keeping all those people in my prayers.

   I need to have J call his daughter to make sure they are okay. They just said on the news how many thousands of acres are burning and the fires are in 7 counties!

   THE CALIFORNIA FIRES ARE INDEED A TRAGIC THING
   WHAT IS EVEN MORE SADDENING IS THAT SOME WERE STARTED ON PURPOSE.
   IF PEOPLE DIED FROM THESE FIRES, LIFE WITH OUT PAROLE, OR EVEN THE DEATH SENTENCE WOULD NOT BE OUT OF LINE.
