My Bag
October13
I got my bag finished! I did a little decorative stitch to make the lining lay better. I love my pocket inside. I made spots in it for lip gloss, pens and sunglasses. That is the nice thing about creating your own bag. You can make as many pockets as you need. I need a pocket on the outside for my cell phone. I can still add it and I might!

[…] posted a picture of the bag I finally finished. It holds a ton of stuff! It was simple to make. Finding the time was the hard […]
Awesome job! I really like the fabrics you made it with. Did it come in a kit or did you buy the fabric seperately? Can you explain the buttons?
[…] each bought [tag]fabric to make one. My sister Karen has posted a picture of her finished bag at Winding Threads and it’s worth a look! I can’t wait for one of them to send me the pattern so I can […]
The flap seems to need something decorative to give it some weight. I had that button pin that I used to wear on a brown sweater all the time. It is a piece of fabric on which a bunch of buttons have been sewn.
I think our sister is sending you the pattern. I am making you a bag just like the one in the picture.
I love these fabrics! You should sell these on etsy, I would buy one!
I was talking about a bag / purse that I need recently here. I need a bag that has pockets for my cell, ipod, cigs / lighter, and digi camera (slim sony cyber shot) and then a big pocket for everything else. I like the nine west style bags. Do you think you could make a bag that I would like (and would fit my needs)? If so email me a quote on price. I would very much appreciate it. I really need a bag that I don’t have to dig forever to find what I need.
I emailed you Danyel.
I love bags like that, I think you should consider selling them too.
I love your purse! I always like yours and Lynne’s better than mine LOL
Your sewing always looks and is better than mine, Grace!
Lynne, we picked out that fabric when we went to the quilt shop while Grace was here.
Thanks Breezie.
