Get Your House Ready

October10

Brrr! I thought it would be nice to open some windows and let in some fresh air. I had no idea it turned cold overnight. Our new insulated glass windows must be doing their job. It was toasty in this house this morning. I was running up and down the stairs because our washer and dryer are in the basement. That might have contributed to my sweat. Doing laundry is great exercise for me.

It is time to prepare for those icky blasts of cold air. I do not want to pay more for my utilities than I absolutely have to. If You want to be sure your house is ready for winter, you should call Eco Glass. They only sell the best. They have an excellent customer service policy. They have an excellent reputation because they sell quality glass replacement windows.

People always sniff at me when I tell them how cold it gets in San Diego. The last few mornings have been rather chilly.

The funny thing is, when I was living in Europe I would have scoffed at this mild cold. I guess it begins to take a toll on you once your used to a climate.

I remember on a trip to South Africa years ago that everyone was looking at me like I was crazy because I was wearing shorts in 78 degree weather. They all had jackets on!

It’s hard to believe it’s nearly winter again. Time goes so quickly.

Same thing for some of my friends from Canada, they were wearing just shorts in 5 degree weather!
