Why am I always hungry? It seems as though I just ate breakfast and I am digging around to find something to eat. I cannot wait for lunch. I have been looking for healthy alternatives for my junk food. I know I am going to eat. If I eat healthy foods it will be better. Right?

I found this recipe that uses Kashi cereal.

Seventh Heaven Apple Bake

Makes 16 servings.
Ingredients
Fruit Filling

* 5 ½ cups chopped apples
* 2 tablespoons whole wheat flour
* ½ cup evaporated cane juice

Topping

* 1 ½ cups chopped pecans
* 1 cup Kashi® 7 Whole Grain Honey Puffs
* 2 packets Kashi® Heart to Heart® Golden Brown Maple Instant Oatmeal (or other brand)
* ¼ cup whole wheat flour
* ¼ cup evaporated cane juice
* ½ teaspoon cinnamon
* ½ cup butter, melted

Directions

1. In a large bowl combine Apples and 2 tablespoons of flour, tossing to coat.
2. Add ½ cup evaporated cane juice, mix and place in a 2 quart casserole dish.
3. In a separate bowl, combine pecans, cereal, oatmeal, flour, evaporated cane juice and cinnamon. Add melted butter and stir well.
4. Spoon topping over fruit mixture. Garnish with pecan halves.
5. Bake uncovered at 350°F for 45 minutes. Serve warm.
