Quilts

October2

While we were so close to Cincinnati, we decided it would be fun to check out the fabric stores and quilt shops. We made it to two of them. One was nice but not spectacular. I did think their setup for classes was nice. I am so jealous. I would love to have a quilt shop close to where I live. There were about 10 tables arranged for classes. Each had a sewing machine and a covered board for ironing quilt blocks.

They had a nice array of finished quilts. They didn’t seem as nice as ones I have seen at other shops. It is funny how the quality of quilts can be so different. I am learning little tips to make my blocks look more professional. It is the little things that make a quilt look better. Pressing is the number one thing to always do if you want a nice looking block. Pressing cannot be skipped.
