Fall is Around the Corner

August30

Before we head on into the holidays, let’s think about planning a road trip. September is a good month to pack everyone into the car and look at all the leaves as they change color. Here, in Indiana, the leaves are gorgeous as they change from green to shades of red, oranges and gold. The tree at the back of our property turns the most beautiful shade of yellow.

Drive to the state park nearest you and walk the trails. I love to hear the fallen leaves crunch when we walk through them.

It will be snowing soon enough so don’t forget to pick out your pumpkins and dried corn and drink some fresh apple cider. I love the fall season.

I adore fall. I love everything about it! The trees, the cooler weather, football season beginning, baseball pennant races. It’s my favorite season. Hope the dry summer doesn’t dull the tree color too much this year.
