Someone stole a handgun from Graceland Surveillance video showed a man reaching into a display case at the “Elvis After Dark” exhibit at Graceland, Presley’s mansion, and removing a black, 9 mm Smith & Wesson pistol on August 14. A custodian found the gun while cleaning out portable toilets at the exhibition. Do they make you use porta potties at Graceland? Maybe that’s why I’ve never felt the need to visit. The custodian didn’t know the gun had been stolen until he read about it. He turned it in. He said he thought that whoever stole the gun probably dropped it in the potty. They must not have wanted to retrieve it. Eeew!
