Well, he finally did it. Barry Bonds finally caught up with the home run record set by Hank Aaron. Allegations of steroid use have tainted the sweet victory but it happened non the less. It was Bond’s 755th home run.
It sounds like the pressure was getting on Bond’s nerves. He said he has had rashes on his head and felt sick at times.
Congratulations Barry Bonds.
Too bad this record will always have the steroid taint on it.
Hopefully Arod ends up beating it before the end of his career so we again have baseball’s most visible achievement without a cloud over it.
