Expired Plates
I was lucky to have two credit cards when I went to the Post Office on Wednesday. I needed to get Stacy’s license plate tag sent to her and went to the Post Office to have it overnighted to her. I hadn’t even thought about the amount I had already spent on the one card to pay for all of our plate stickers. When I went to use that card again it wouldn’t let the transaction go through. I think that the bank puts a limit on our debit card so we can’t be kidnapped and forced to withdraw money from an ATM. That crook would be sorry he picked me to rob! A quick glance at our credit report would have shown him there’s not much money in our account. LOL
Anyway, I was glad I had another credit card in my wallet. There was a line forming behind me. I’m glad I had taken the time to compare credit cards and found one with a low interest rate for times like on Wednesday. I hadn’t even thought about sending her license plate sticker until I had purchased it and then drove by the Post Office. Luckily a light bulb went off that told me that on August 1 she would be driving on an expired plate. I don’t think her commanding officer would like that. Since I hadn’t planned all this, I had no cash and my credit card was a lifesaver.
