I’m thrilled for two local brothers. Wendell and Drexel Blankenship have been promoting their latest movie called, “The Calling.”

The movie is a tale of suspense and the supernatural. It was filmed in our area and was written, produced and directed by the Blankenships. It sounds like it was based on some of the urban legends known in our area. Don’t most rural areas have those?

The film was recently accepted to The Big Damn Film Festival, Saint Paul, Minn., the world’s largest independent film festival, according to the brothers.
