Happy Customer

July24

These dogs are tired. The store is a total mess. Samples are thrown everywhere! That means I have been busy. I had fun helping a customer who brought in her sofa cushion. It was the prettiest floral design. I explained to her that the colors will look different in her home than they do in our store. She looked at me and gave me the familiar look. No one believes me when I tell them how much something can change from our store to their home. I cringe when someone picks something out and refuses to take the sample home to see how it will look.

The beiges that we thought looked nice with her sofa cushion looked awful when she took them home. She said that her couch looks gold at home. Let me tell you, there was no gold on that couch cushion when it was in my store. LOL In my mind I visualized gold and picked some things out for her to try. This was her second trip in to pick something out. Sometimes it takes three or four trips. She lives close to our store so it wasn’t a big deal.

A few hours later in she came. She was a happy camper. She found one that looked good. We spent the rest of the hour that she stayed, talking about making quilts. :-)
