[photopress:vert.siegel.gi.jpg,full,pp_image][tag]Joel Siegel[/tag], a longtime [tag]movie critic[/tag] for “[tag]Good Morning America[/tag]” who racked up five New York [tag]Emmy Awards[/tag] for his insightful work, died Friday, the television station said. He was 63.

He was known for not letting actors off the hook when they didn’t give their best. I enjoyed listening to him because he often fumbled. He tripped up what he was trying to say but I always got the message. He didn’t try to say every [tag]movie[/tag] was great and that we should go see them all.

My prayers are with his family.
