Cormac McCarthy
[tag]Oprah[/tag] grabbed an interview with [tag]Cormac McCarthy[/tag]. McCarthy is a recluse who feels he should be writing and not be talking about writing. It sounds like, from reading at CNN online, that he is an unusual person. He doesn’t talk like someone who is proud that millions of people read his books. His book “The Road” was chosen as Oprah’s book club book for later in the year. Mr. McCarthy received the [tag]Pulitzer Prize[/tag] for fiction for the book.
The book is about a father and his son as they wander through a barren post-nuclear landscape.

I have to wonder why Oprah would select a book about a post nuclear war. Perhaps I should buy it and find out.

Father and son wandering in a barren post-nuclear landscape? hmm.. no romance? I’ll get a copy of this. If I liked it, remind me to thank Oprah. =)
