Friday the 13th
Today is [tag]Friday the 13th[/tag] [tag]day of April, 2007.
Today would be a great day to watch the [tag]dvd[/tag] of [tag]Halloween[/tag].
If you are into horror films, this is one of the greatest horror films ever made and deserves a place on every horror film fans shelf. Made on a shoestring budget of about $300,000 it went on to become the most successful independent [tag]movie[/tag] of all time.
The [tag]film[/tag] is directed by John Carpenter. Mr. Carpenter was putting out around two [tag]cult[/tag] [tag]classics[/tag] every year or two. Carpenters use of the [tag]camera[/tag] as the [tag]killers[/tag] view set a trend that continues to this day. Isn’t that fortunate! Muwahhahhahh! Of course ‘The Shape’ as he came to be known, is a truly [tag]nightmarish[/tag] [tag]creation[/tag]. He wears a [tag]mask[/tag], which apparently was originally a [tag]Captain Kirk[/tag] mask which one of the [tag]crew[/tag] adapted! I hope he is getting residuals! He’s virtually indestructible, totally inhuman and one of the scariest killers ever.
[tag]Jamie Lee Curtis[/tag]’ name gives the film some film seekers but [tag]Donald Pleasence[/tag], who plays Dr Sam Loomis. Pleasence’s role is crucial to the film, as some of the lines he has to deliver are, well a little immature. Pleasence is able to deliver them with conviction and gives a fantastic [tag]performance[/tag]. His lines from the movie sum up the template of the movie when he says,
“I met this six-year-old [tag]child[/tag], with this blank, pale, emotionless face and, the blackest eyes… the [tag]devil’s[/tag] eyes! I spent eight years trying to reach him, and then another seven trying to keep him locked up because I realized what was living behind that boy’s eyes was purely and simply… evil!”
Have a great Friday the 13th![photopress:halloween.jpg,full,pp_image]
