How’s this for great advertising and bringing smiles to faces? College students are under so much stress and deserve a ray of sunshine to help them get through their hard years of study. Watch this cool video that Coke wants us to share.
“Star Wars” – an a cappella tribute to John Williams. This video has been nominated for a People’s Choice Award for “Favorite User Generated Video”. It is awesome!
Did you see this video? When I first began my blogging adventure, a friend showed this video to me. There are so many wonderful things on the www. I wish I could remember all of them. This is one of my favorite. These guys have reunited and made a video of returning to IU and how the above video came about.
When my kids were small, they loved a cartoon that had vegetable characters involved. I can still hear them singing a song about a piece of broccoli who was looking for his hairbrush. Hey, if it got them interested in eating their vegetables, I was all for it. Now, there is a new family of vegetables on the block. The Sproutwells are just your typical fruit and vegetable family trying to fit into a new neighborhood. Sounds cute doesn’t it? With so many television shows and games vying for our kid’s attention, this video series is one that will entertain as well as get our kids interested in eating fruits and vegetables. At least we can hope it does!
The video is so cute and has me wondering… If I were to be a vegetable, what veggie would I be?
I think I would want to be a carrot! Carrots are known for making you see better. Oh, and being a carrot would mean I would be a redhead. I love red hair.
I encourage you to share the video with your friends and see if they agree that this video is one that their kids will love to watch.
I have a friend who has a child with autism. Autism is something that has changed her life. I had no idea of the challenges she has faced. She has had to fight to have her child attend school. She has had to fight with her insurance company to make them pay for therapy for her child. Life shouldn’t be so hard.
The band, Five for Fighting, is trying to raise money for Autism Speaks. When you click the link for What Kind of World Do You Want, Five for Fighting will donate $0.40 to Autism Speaks. Five for Fighting has said that they hope to get 10,000 clicks. Ha! They don’t know how we bloggers can spread the word. Please watch this heartfelt video and help fund research to find a cure for autism.
I have been so busy getting caught up with our business paperwork since we got home from Vegas. We also took a trip to North Carolina to attend Stacy’s graduation to Petty Officer. We have been busy!
I just now read Drew’s post where he posted a video of our panel. I am going over to watch it now. If you would like to see the video, part one can be found by clicking here. Thanks Drew for installing the video on your blog. I know you are busy too. Give Eva a kiss for me! (Eva is Drew’s new baby girl.)
