Today is Tuesday and that means I really needed to tackle something. I did feel motivated this morning as I threw all the clothes into the washing machine. I only hoped I would still feel motivated when it came time to iron the ones that needed pressing. Well, guess what. I did it. It feels good to have it done. I hate to iron clothes. Do you ever hate to wear something because you know that if it gets dirty and you have to wash it, it will need to be ironed? For more tackles, check out 5minutesformom.com.

My tackle today is to finish this rag quilt. I only have to sew around the whole quilt and it will be ready to send to my daughter. Stacy, my daughter, picked out the colors and cut the squares. My mom and aunt marked the squares for me. Wasn’t that nice? I sewed x’s on the squares and put the blocks together with the batting. Stacy is going to snip the edges so they will ravel. How do you like this rag quilt? I love the colors she chose.

Have you ever heard a hummingbird cry out for food? I haven’t either but before they reported me to the head hummingbird, I thought I better get this feeder filled with sugary water.

Wow, it is Tuesday already! That means I will be tackling something. I went downstairs to do some laundry when I heard a chirping noise. My husband was fishing last week in Southern Indiana. They use crickets for bait. Apparently, a few of those crickets have escaped from his fishing gear and are making a home in my basement. My tackle today-to find the crickets and then help them find a new home. EEEEEW!

My niece needed a little trash catcher to put beside her sewing machine. I had made a few and I thought I would make her a generic one. That was until I saw this cute little trash catcher. I made this little frog trash catcher. This frog likes to eat thread and the lily pad holds pins. That was my tackle for my niece. My tackle for today is to make more frog trash catchers.
