Holding onto Memories

Published by under family

PhotobucketI was looking through pictures and found one I had taken while visiting our son and his wife in St. Louis.
I have been thinking how time goes by so quickly. One minute we are ordering baptism invitations from invitationbox.com and the next we are watching our son practice law. It sounds melancholy but my friends who have graduating seniors, really need to give their kids big hugs. They do grow up quickly!

A Gift They Will Love

Published by under a bit of everything

It is that time of year. Spring flowers are blooming and the tulips and hyacinths have made their way out of the soil. I have seen lilac bushes in full bloom. With spring comes weddings and graduations. I am thrilled to have been invited to my niece’s graduation ceremony from college. I have also been invited to two weddings. Both weddings are for young people that I have known since they were tiny. I want to find unique gifts to let them know how special they are to me.

Upside Living is a wonderful place to find heirloom quality home and garden decor items from around the globe. That is the type of gift I have been trying to find. I have seen many beautiful items as we have traveled and always thought how they would make beautiful and appropriate wedding gifts. I didn’t know how to find those items again until I happened upon Upside Living. They are an easy-to-use site that offers the quality and service that I expect.

Look at this beautiful wine carafe.

It has been inspected and hand signed by the artist. Any young couple would love something as personal as a beautiful piece of artwork they can use when they entertain.
