Hallelujah! It is Friday. I have enjoyed this week but it was full of things to get done. I am ready to sit around and watch movies.
I did sew a little this week. I remade a purse after finding out the little girl didn’t like Snow White.
This is how the purse looked before:
This is after Snow White left the building:
I found out that my customer wanted two bags so I made another Disney bag:
Since I planned to mail those to my sister, I made a bag for her too:

Preparing to leave a Disney resort, Paul and Karen Campanale tidied up their room, as most of us do. I don’t want the cleaning staff to think we are total slobs. I put towels in a pile, check the lighting to make sure everything has been turned off and throw away any trash. Well, Paul Campanale dumped a cardboard bowl, not knowing the container inside it held his wife Karen’s engagement, wedding and five-year-anniversary rings. After being told it would be nearly impossible to find the rings, they disappointedly left for their flight.
Back at the Wilderness Lodge resort, executive housekeeper Drew Weaver realized that trash from the Campanales’ villa hadn’t reached the industrial-size compactor yet. He and seven other volunteers donned protective clothing, emptied a parking lot bin and waded through bag after bag of rubbish to find the rings. And they did.
Campanales were shocked! You can read the whole story at www.bostonchannel.com/news.

Last night we had a wild time at the movies. We went to see Wild Hogs. It was not a deep intense plot, yet it was highly entertaining. I thought I was going to die laughing during the skinny dipping scene. It was a great spoof on the midlife crisis syndrome. I don’t want to spoil the movie for those who haven’t seen it but they get in a bit of trouble with a biker gang. I found this interesting tidbit at IMDB. The original script and log line featured the HELLS ANGELS but was later revised to the DEL FUEGOS after the famous club sued Disney.
