What are your plans for the fourth of July holiday weekend? I hope your weather cooperates enough to allow you to enjoy the day outdoors. I plan to help hubby work in the yard in the morning before it gets hot. We may have to fire up the grill in the evening and then watch the fireworks in the park at dusk. I hope to get some sewing finished on Saturday and hit the mall to find some shorts for our vacation. I hope summer things will be on sale. (I wouldn’t be surprised if winter coats will be in all the stores). Sunday will be spent at church and then a nap in the afternoon. Don’t you love three day weekends? Have a great one!

I believe I just might pop if I don’t get out and go for a walk. Lynn fixed dinner on the grill. He likes to try out new things on his grill. Tonight he grilled shrimp. He used a tray that is made to grill fish. It keeps the meat from falling into the grill. He sprayed the tray with non-stick spray. He put a rub on the shrimp and put them on the grill to cook. He also fixed chicken legs and thighs for us to munch on for lunch this week. We had corn on the cob and fresh pineapple and strawberries with our shrimp. Now, for my much needed walk.
