Got a Japanese Fender Telecaster back in 1989 and have stuck with Fender products since then (own a Fender Deluxe Strat and a 12-string acoustic now). Still, you simply can't go wrong with a Gibson. Heck, an American-made Les Paul Studio or SG Studio can still be had for less than $1,000 and they sound great.

It was my dream to learn the guitar as well, but I think I am not talented enough, or I am not giving myself enough time to become better. I am having troubles remembering all the chords and where my fingers should go, and then my fingers don't want to stay where they should and the whole thing sounds like a bad radio reception. After several of my friends heard me trying to play, they bought me an
for my birthday. It has a nice sound - something between a harp and a guitar, and it solves the one problem I've been struggling with, the chords. Here, all the harmonies are already preset in the system of the instrument, so it only takes one push of a finger with one hand, and a stroke of the strings with the other to produce a nice sound. And now I can take it with me to gatherings with my friends and we can sing backed by my autoharp. It is great, and it is kind of cool, too, at least I feel cool being able to provide music for my friends.

That flower is beautiful! We do all need to take a break once in awhile. When I take a break, I usually play a game with my kids.

Where did you learn to make quilts. I spent some time in Wooster, Ohio and the woman that cleaned my house was Amish and she sold me quilts made by her and her family. It's an artform to be sure.
