Ah! the weekend was great. It is always good to be away from the drama of all these students thrown into housing together.

I went to a concert all day Saturday in Virginia Beach. It was great. It was the Lunatic Luau, and there were quite a few bands. Papa Roach put on the best show according to the people I was with.

Hinder headlined and Buckcherry was there too. We had lawn seats for $13, but snuck up to the front and got some good pictures. Rock stars have such great hair Came home afterwards and slept, I tried to sleep in a little but only made it til 10am. Sunday was a laid back day doing laundry and watching the Colts game. That’s about it for a weekend in this pirate’s life.

I’ve been writing some advertising for some companies through PayPerPost and it is fun. It helps me find cool stuff like a few posts ago when I wrote the one about Pageglitter. I can’t wait til I’m outta here and get to play with that! I’ve made some new friends because they found out that I’m all things Pirate. They like punk rock too!

The thing about writing ads through PayPerPost is more than the traffic generation. It is about reading what is happening in other people’s lives. I feel so isolated here at the base and it gives me a great outlet. The money has been great too! I should be getting paid soon for some of the first opportunities I did. I signed up for PayPerPost in August. I am having fun!

I am so glad that part of my school stuff is over. I had to be seatbelted in a mockup of a helicopter, flipped upside down while under water. I had to escape. Then I had to do it again only this time I was blindfolded. I didn’t think I would ever get all the water out of my sinuses. I passed! Yay!

Being stuck here at school and living in the barracks is cramping my style. I hadn’t checked out my blog at MySpace in so long that I forgot my password. I was checking around at other sites and see that there have been some improvements. People must be using pagefetti because their sites are looking really good! People have all this cool music stuff going on!

You say you’ve never heard of Pagefetti! I thought I was the only one who’s been living in a cave! Ha! Pagefetti is the best site to spice up your blog page. It works with other types of sites too but I have a MySpace blog so I can tell you more about that. If you want a new layout, start at Pagefetti. Everything works together and you’ll have less hassle when you use one of their templates. You won’t believe all of the ways to change your background using Pageglitter. The Music Player lets you choose a tune for people to hear on your site. I haven’t tried that one yet but I will. They also have something called Video Player Skins. I want to check that out too. The graphics at Pageglitter are great. They have those sparling glittery ones that you can use on your page. There is no excuse for an ugly site at MySpace. I had a great labor day weekend. Went to the beach with some friends from school and we camped over night. You’re not allowed to sleep on the beach like we wanted to so we found a small campground. We stayed at the Oregon Inlet camp ground just before the bridge that takes you to the Hatteras light house. I think we laughed all night, and then I slept in a friends truck bed. We were all achey the next morning.
