Third Runner for American Heritage Quilt

CIMG5306_zps756f1ed0And finally, another portion of the American Heritage Quilt I am working on.

I love the size of this portion. It would make a nice table topper or wall hanging. It was fun to make and the star points came out nicely. You quilters will understand about points. They can be cantankerous.

My husband rarely gets on the computer. He was looking for something to do since my daughter and I were watching Smash and he is not interested in that show. He was browsing on our desktop when all of a sudden “pop” the monitor blew up. It had been getting hot but I wasn’t sure if that was normal or not. I mean, I rarely touch the back of the monitor. Maybe if it was on a
monitor cart and the back faced where I could get to it, I may have noticed that being hot was not a normal thing and I would have paid attention. I regress, the monitor popped and was dead. Off to the store we went. One hundred dollars poorer, we have a new, wide-screen monitor. I liked my old monitor and was not wanting to spend the money. Ugh. We did get to eat out so that made the evening fun.

Hi Karen, I very well understand the feeling you get when you see something you have put a lot of effort on. I do glass painting, and I make it a point to take photos with each of my painted articles. Gives me a feeling of contentment and pride at the same time.
