We Have Water
I am washing sheets and doing dishes like a mad woman! It feels so good to have water again.
When the plumbers came they had to dig down approx. 6 feet and remove concrete to get to the pipe that had the problem. A curved galvanized pipe that connects our water lines to our well had a dime sized hole. Water was pouring out of that hole until we turned the water off to the house.
I just finished washing out the Saniflo toilet because no matter how many times I flushed, the water left a black scum in the toilet. I had to literally put soft scrub on a paper towel and put my hand down in the toilet to wipe out the film of black. Blech!
My husband did his best to get all the mud out of the house that was unavoidable during the ordeal. We are lucky it wasn’t a bigger mess than what we had.
So, we have water and all is well. Time to celebrate the Labor Day weekend! Thank you for all your kind comments.

Question, though I’ve been here numerous times, commented and dropped, purchased your fine purses etc, I’m here today as I’m working my way through part of the list of dofollow blogs. Are you no longer a dofollow? I noticed you don’t have the badge. I thought to be on the list one needed to be a dofollow and show the badge so folks would know etc.??

Hi Sandy. Yes, my blogs are do-follow. I don’t put the badge on anymore because it invites spammers who want link juice.

Hum…trying to figure out how to divide the list of folks of those using the badge and those not. I did this all so long ago I don’t remember how to know if someone is a DOFollow even if they’re displaying a badge? Do you know?
I”m deleting lots of folks on the list, some because they don’t have active blogs (so what’s the point), others because they have comments closed or you have to join to leave a comment (again what’s the point), those that aren’t really blogs at all but webpages, those that don’t blog just have a huge page of ads, and those without notice of being dofollow. But, since I know you thought I would ask.
I’ve moved my DoFollow Badge from the top or close to it to the bottom of the blog and that seems to take care of some who do a quick look before leaving a stupid unrelated comment or Chinese or Russian which seems to be the big hit lately. Go figure, what’s the point in spamming someone with a language they can’t read anyway. lol
Blogger now has filters and is catching most of those anyway, so they don’t get posted which is nice.
If you have an idea on the above, sing out, happy to have some techy help.
