To Read or Work
Today is a bit cooler outdoors and not humid so I think I will find something to work on in the yard. The patio cushions have been cleaned and the flowers weeded. I need to trim the bushes with my electric trimmer. I hate that job. My trimmer won’t stay plugged in. I am constantly adjusting the plug because it falls out just as I am on a roll. Grrr I also hate trimming the bushes because it makes the mosquitoes come out in droves. I will have to spray myself down with bug spray. I hate doing that. Can you tell I detest this job? I think I will just read a book.
I am reading Laura Bush’s book, Spoken from the Heart. I love how she writes. I think her growing up years were very similar to mine. She played make believe with her dolls and she loved to read. I am only a few pages into the book so I will let you know how I feel about the rest of the book.
