Christmas Has Left the Building
Does everyone take down their tree on New Year’s Day? I do sometimes but I was enjoying my time with the kids so much that I didn’t want to disturb the exciting games of Wii and eating fudge. Does fudge give you heartburn? I think it is the culprite but it doesn’t bother me enough to make me quit opening the bucket of fudge. Yes, I said bucket. My mother in-law’s friend, Patsy, sent over fudge that she was to bring to our house. She made five different kinds of fudge! The first to go was the peanut butter. I think that is the favorite at this house.

Do many people take orlando vacations or other trips where the weather is warm during the holidays? It is 4 degrees here today!!! Yikes. At least the sun is shining.
Ok, back to stripping the beds and doing laundry. What are you doing today?

Here in Florida it is a cold 62 degrees. The locals are dressed in big puffy jackets, the snowbirds are wearing shorts and flip flops.
It’s freezing here in FL tonight. Lows in the low 30′s tonight. That fudge looks yummy.

Our trees will come down next weekend as we were out of town for New Year’s. That’s a sad thing this year, actually. For some reason, I’m having a hard time letting go of this Christmas…
