Rain, Fog and Computer Memory

Published by at 10:30 am under a bit of everything

I have worked with computers for probably 20 years and I am still afraid of them. This morning I received an error message that told me my virtual memory is low. What the heck is that? Do I need an sd card to move my information onto?

On to more normal things. We woke up to fog today. I was very surprised that the schools did not delay the bus pick ups like they usually do. It is so dangerous to drive in fog.

Extreme Makeover, Home Edition was in our county. They have been working in the rain since last week. It has been very exciting to read the progress report each day. They had so many volunteers that the workers were put on other jobs in the area. There are so many places that need help whether it be painting or plumbing. I hear that the episode that was filmed here will air some time in December.

That’s interesting! I always wonder how much time really elapses on some of these shows and how they coordinate all those volunteers. It’s good to hear that they don’t just send the overflow away, but actually get them doing other jobs.

I’m digging the site man. You have a lot of inspiring content on here. I myself have a site that brings inspiration and guidance to millions of visitors around the world. I was thinking about a link exchange to let our visitors know about both our sites. Let me know.

I love the fog!! We had none last night and it got really cold for CA… a mere 36 degrees!!!

I’d like the extreme home makeover to come to my house. Ha!

Thanks for your kind words of support after Shmo was gone. I miss him very much.

      Bye for now.

Cool insider info from a local on Extreme Home Makeover. My family installs some of the swimming pools that they use on the show which is pretty cool.

With your computer If you click on the startup bar and click on computer it should show your available memory. I bought a 500gb external harddrive from target for like 80 bones and it rocks! Just drag and drop into it’s folder and it has a usb hookup for whenever you need anything from it. I highly recommend it!

Hope this helps and Enjoying your blog.
