Kids That Cook
Things have gotten back to a bit of normalcy here at home. Our daughter was here for two weeks and I sure do miss her. She did a lot of cooking and provided a lot of company for me while I worked. When the kids live away, it is fun to get together and hear about their every day lives. Phone calls are just not the same. It might be time to check out Orlando vacations and a visit to Florida to see Stacy.
Greg is home and has been working on his thesis for his master’s degree. I don’t ask him how it is going because I don’t think I would understand his answer! LOL He has been cooking too. He is making healthy lunches for us each day. I love having someone cook for me. I could get used to it!
I know that, as a parent, we are supposed to raise our kids and prepare them to live on their own. That said, it doesn’t mean that I have to like it.

It’s great to have your kids back at home once in a while and you can really see how much they have grown up while being away. Teaching your kids to cook early on can be a very rewarding talent. They’ll save money, stay healthy, and impress their friends!
My son is six – he just made me a hot dog for lunch (and one for himself) … I, too, could get used to having someone cook for me. Although, I think I’m going to start expanding his repertoire …
I posted a link to your blog in a meme that I posted on today. Stop by if you have a chance!
