      Dear Karen,
Hi! Val’s father was at the hospital until late in the afternoon. He met her doctor and my doctor as well. He is a little stressed out and tired from the events of the day. Meanwhile, the lap band is in. I spoke with her twice on the phone. She is doing OK worrying about everybody except herself as usual. I’ll keep in toouch untilo she gets back to blogging.

      Dear Karen,
You are so artistic and good. Drat I wish I could finish a project and have it look so fine. Anyway, Val left the hospital early yesterday afternoon. She is home tired and sore. She is not hungry. Right now she is on liquids. I feel better now that she is home. I’ll know she is on the mend when she starts up on the computer. I hope she relaxes a little first though.
      Pat.
