Mixed Emotions
I am torn about whether to watch Oprah this afternoon. She is having guests that have been successful in business or made big money in some way. The reason I am torn is that she is interviewing Tony Hsieh, the CEO of Zappos. I don’t like Zappos ever since they let a good friend’s husband go from their company. I don’t care to see how well Tony is doing.
I would like to watch the segment about the Olsen twins, Mary Kate and Ashley. I would like to hear them talk like normal people. I wonder if they can do that? All I ever see about them is the trouble they have. Now is one of those times that I wish I had Tivo so I could fast forward over the parts of a show I don’t want to watch.
On another subject, I am so excited to say that I bought some new jeans! Woo hoo! I didn’t have to rely on fat burners to get into a smaller size and still found a pair of jeans that fit. Okay, I admit they are made with that stretchy denim fabric. I was so happy to find cool looking jeans that fit that I bought three pair. They are each a little different and one pair is almost black in color. It is so nice to have some jeans that aren’t thread bare. I have been bringing out my sweaters and sweatshirts to wear now that our weather has turned colder. That is one nice thing about living where we experience all four seasons.

Congratulations on the new jeans! You mention you did not rely on fat burners, and I’m sure somewhere here in your blog perhaps you talk about weight loss, but I’m curious as to what has allowed you to get those new jeans?
I think it is just that I have been moving around more. Working in the yard, cleaning the house, etc.
Tivo? Heh. Just pick up a Dish Network subscription and grab a DVR. It’s well worth the extra $5 a month.

The Dish Network is only $5 per month??? I must be confused as usual.
I with it was only $5 a month! The DVR is an extra $5 per unit.
Again, it’s well worth it. Dish network is a great service, too.
