Why Pay So Much?
After church today, I got involved in a discussion about computers. My friend’s computer is dying a slow death. He went to the major brick and mortar stores in our area and paid an arm and a leg for upgrades to his computer’s memory. He also bought a new hard drive. If only I had known! I could have steered him to Buy.com. For what he has spent on just a few items, he could have purchased a new laptop. I saw several on sale on Buy.com’s weekly deals page. I feel so bad that I found out about this after the damage was done.
I have to get the word out to more of my friends. They are not online as much as I am and I guess it is up to me to keep them in the know. Buy.com has this Western Digital My Passport Hard Drive priced at $89.99! My friend could have saved so much money.
I discovered Buy.com when I was looking for inexpensive supplies for my office. They have the best deals on inkjet cartridges. I am saving money to buy the fax machine they have on sale. It is a fax machine, telephone and a printer all in one. I have looked at fax machines for a while now and they have an awesome machine at an unbelievably low price.
I only hope my friend checks with Buy.com in the future. For now, I feel like I owe him a free meal. It is the least I can offer.

I stumbled upon buy.com when I was doing some research for another internet company. I love to get DVDs from them- they always have great prices on the ones I can’t find used at Half.com !

People who are not internet savvy often don’t understand the rate at which technology is progressing. So much so that these days it’s usually more cost-effective to just buy new than to repair the old! (Making sure that you recycle the old, of course.)
