Some Things Are Not Funny

Published by Karen at 9:29 pm under health

You should never let your husband sit behind you while you exercise. I thought my husband was preoccupied while I exercised. He was holding a conversation on the phone and I figured, since he is a man, he would not be multitasking by talking and looking at my butt. Men don’t multitask very well. I guess he could talk and watch this one time. He proceeded to tell how watching me exercise was hilariously funny.

I am not coordinated. I gave up trying to follow Billy Banks or whatever his name is and sent my Tae Bo videos to my sister. I am discovering that I have a problem trying to do the aerobics portion on my Wii Fit program. The gal steps on and steps off. I step on and step off. Just when I am feeling confident she switches and steps to the side. Whaattt? I am concentrating on getting my feet to hit the balance board at just the right angle to get the screen to yell “perfect” as in “you go girl”. Now I have to figure out how to know when she is going to do a change up on me and step to the left and then step to the right. This is too much for my brain to wrap around. I might injure myself. Who told me to buy this thing?! &*%$$

hahaha! that was so funny! My hubby caught me one time dancing while watching TV:) I loved dancing and I always can’t stop laughing when Jim will tease me about it by dancing and nodding his head too…hilarious! guess, all his feet is left, lol!

    4. Karen on 15 Sep 2008 at 5:42 pm

Oh no! Now he has ammunition to tease you. LOL

I think that men can multi task when it comes to gaping and doing something else.

I think that it would be wise that you keep him away when you work out.

Or maybe you can, it can spice up things.

You know, it probably was funny. I’m sure I look funny whe I exercise too, which is why I desperately try to do it alone.

I have not been able to try the wii out yet, but I hear the workout programs are fun to use. honestly when I first get a new workout dvd I sit and watch the whole thing twice, then try to do it. that way I have an idea of what is coming.

The Wii Fit is a lot harder than it looks. I personally hate the tight rope part of it. I completely suck at it.

If it comes to watching a women’s butt, men are great at multi-tasking!

I’m so lazy. I watch an exercise program and I get tired already.

    13. HoundsGood on 21 Sep 2008 at 3:04 pm

Oh, don’t be too hard on her. Afterall, she never gets a coffee/tea break. She doesn’t have a life except for that balance board.

I cannot seem to find a place to be alone to exercise. Someone always finds me! LOL

    17. Karen on 21 Sep 2008 at 9:35 pm

It would be a good idea to watch the thing before trying to do the exercise. I should have at least read the instructions! LOL

    18. Karen on 21 Sep 2008 at 9:36 pm

Tight rope??!!! I haven’t reached that one yet. I am slow at this.

    19. Karen on 21 Sep 2008 at 9:37 pm

    20. Karen on 21 Sep 2008 at 9:37 pm

    23. Connie on 21 Sep 2008 at 9:40 pm

I’m a clutz. There I’ve said it. I can relate. No way that I can follow any kind of aerobics or even dance moves. You’ll find me sitting out all of those wedding dances that everyone knows. Maybe we can sit together?? :)

Hubby installs carpet every day and gets plenty of exercise from that. I can’t see him doing aerobics although it would probably be very funny to watch.
