Laura, water chestnuts are a tubular vegetable not a nut from a tree. I don’t know what you are supposed to do with chestnuts from a tree. Maybe crack them open and eat them?

Water chestnuts wrapped in bacon, a very interesting combination. I’m trying to imagine. Are the chestnuts roasted ahead of time or fresh?
