Suggestion to Entrcard Users
I have had so much success with Entrecard. This site has introduced me to so many great bloggers. There are so many blogs that I simply have to read each day. I feel like I know these people. I am drawn to the blogs who write about their kids, cooking and every day life. I suppose it is because they experience their days much the way I do!
If there is one thing I could recommend to those who use Entrecard, it would be to keep your avatar the same. Don’t change it once you make it something that is recognizable. I hate to admit this but I don’t know the names of some of the blogs I read but I sure do know their Entrecard Avatar.
For example, look at JoanJoyce.com. Who can forget that great avatar! Oh, and the name of the blog is JoanJoyce.com, Making Cents and Scenes from the Philippines. I love that blog!

that’s why i keep mine the same. some people will even use other avatars and you think your going to the blog that you associate with it and you end up being wrong.

I agree completely. There are quite a few blogs I only recognize by their Entrecard.

Oops. I have changed my avatars a few times. It’s like changing the furniture! I just can’t make up my mind!

I totally agree with your suggestion. I never changed my avatar since I joined last December and I did it by myself. A simple picture with a blog title on it. I think this is the best part, including a title of your blog will help droppers / visitors to be familiarized with us.
This is what Joan Joyce has been doing and no wonder, she was once dubbed as Entrecard Queen.

Fantastic idea! I was away for 2 weeks and now I see avatars that I have never seen before. I have no idea who they are and can’t find some of my favorites. I don’t have time to find them all!

I agree. I do the same, associate blogs I like with their avatars. That’s why it took me a while to put a custom avatar on a couple of my blogs. I wanted to be sure it was something I wanted to keep.
