    Flea Market Sales

Do any of you frequent flea markets? I was surprised at the items sold at the flea market in Knoxville. My niece sells tanning lotion and was bombarded with customers. She buys her lotion from the same distributor that the tanning bed shops do but she sells hers for half the price. One bottle of this silvery glitter lotion sells for over a hundred dollars at our local tanning salon. My niece had hers marked for less than half that price. I will not be buying my lotion at the tanning salon. My salon has signs up that warn about buying conterfeit and contaminated lotions. I don’t know what others sell but my niece sells quality products. Like I said before, she buys from the same distributor where the salons buy their lotion. I would be upset if I was a salon. The distributor is not protecting their sales.

Has anyone bought Advil or Alleve at a flea market? I bought a box of Alleve that was dated 2010. Is there a reason I should be afraid to use it?

I wouldn’t think that they would be bad for you, I imagine that iwas just surplus or something like that. My mother used to own medicine machines back in the day and we always had tons medicine boxes around. In fact I am sure we still have some.

It is nice to know that your niece isn’t ripping people off like the salon, they need to change the policy if they want to compete.
