Photobucket My friend Tina’s bag.

We had a wonderful class yesterday. Although it was rushed, we learned some new techniques and made bags with a grommet and corded handles. Both were techniques I had not tried yet. It was fun to see how each bag was different. Now we just have to finish them. This is my friend’s bag.

Cool tackle! Wish I could sew. Simply don’t have the attention span or patience. :D

That would be a cute bible bag!

Love the bag. I am like the previous blogger that can not sew. Maybe that will be a new hobby I can take up some day.

      Blessings

With the new tool I bought yesterday, the corded handles are super easy.

I will put a picture up of all three of our bags. That was a good suggestion.

It would make a good bag to carry my Bible!

Just be prepared to get hooked if you start sewing. You will find lots of projects you cannot wait to do. LOL

Very cute! My sewing abilities cover replacing a button or quick-stitching a hem. That bag looks like something my mom would LOVE (she’s a Vera Bradley fan).

That is such a beautiful bag! You’re so talented!

How fun! I’d love to take a class like that!! Did you make the bag all in one day??

    15. Karen on 02 Jul 2008 at 8:07 am

It was a fun bag to make.

    16. Karen on 02 Jul 2008 at 8:08 am

I am so glad not to have to pay the big prices for V Bradley bags anymore. Plus I get to pick my own fabric.

    17. Karen on 02 Jul 2008 at 8:09 am

Andrea, it took me two days to make the bag. Now that I made one it shouldn’t take as long.

Pretty fabric, I want to see the details!
