Does it bother you to see college graduates who end up in low paying jobs? It bothers me. They have invested so much time and money in a field that has no future or is saturated with employees. The IT industry is one that will not disappoint students. It is full of job possibilities to those studying in the field. In fact, the industry keeps growing at such a pace that it will most certainly always need people. When you think about how far the industry has changed in the past ten years, it is only reasonable to think that the industry will need even more people in the future. If students want a future in a well paying industry, they should consider the Information Technology field. People who are already in the IT industry can increase their knowledge with additional certification programs. In an industry that is growing and constantly changing Cisco certification programs are enabling people to come away from their years of education with viable careers. General certifications include routing & switching, design, security, service provider, storage networking, voice and wireless. There are various degrees in each type of study beginning with entry level on up to professional and expert levels. Specialist certifications in technologies such as security, IP telephony, and wireless are also offered. There is another reason to become involved with the learning network, Cisco. They are interested in seeing you succeed. Go to the Cisco website to discover how you can become involved in the exciting Information Technology industry.

After reading about the passenger who decapitated his seatmate, I will be speaking up when someone sits down beside me. At least I would if I could keep them from sitting with me.
Let me back up. On CNN online, I read a story about a Greyhound Canada bus passenger who repeatedly stabbed and then decapitated the young man sitting beside him. The young man was sleeping with his head leaning against the window and apparently did nothing to provoke the attack.
Can you imagine sitting on that bus and witnessing that? I would need counseling for sure. Greyhound is going to need some quality advertising to get people to get back on the bus.

I have heard of people donating blood and receiving money. Safety measures are taken to make sure that the people donating blood are healthy. Safety measures are also taken when drawing the blood. This has been going on for years. It is an honorable thing to give blood. I am not sure how honorable it is to be paid to donate blood. I think people should want to donate without receiving payment.
I just read that donating eggs is becoming more common place with woman. They are receiving payment for their eggs. Can you think of a reason why they should not do this? Can things go wrong? I am curious about this and will checking into it a bit more.

From Emily Post’s Etiquette guide:
Walking on the outside: The custom of a man walking between his female companion and the street was the custom in the days when carriages splashed mud and ladies’ finery needed shielding. These days, it doesn’t matter who is walking on the street side of the sidewalk.
Shaking hands: Used to be that a man was supposed to wait for a woman to offer her hand before he extended his. Today, regardless of gender, people should shake hands upon meeting, and it doesn’t matter who puts their hand out first.
Times have certainly changed! I can remember the days when a woman went to college for one reason. It was not to get her degree but to catch her man! With all the women who are making their own way without the help of a man, customs and manners have changed. The idea of flirting used to mean you were hard up or desperate to find a date. Not anymore. If you want to meet that special someone, you need to put yourself outside your comfort zone and get noticed. One way to get noticed is with sexy styled hair. Sleek, thick, beautiful hair gets attention. Guys and gals notice your physical attributes before they have a chance to know you so a beautiful head of hair, Victory Hair, gets attention.
If you want to get started on the road to “Victory Hair”, you will want to check out Extreme Style by VO5’s fun game that will have you competing in The Ultimate Flirting Championship!

You can have so much fun and learn while playing Ultimate Flirting Championship. You might even choose to put the widget on your own blog so your readers can have some fun! Plan your step-by-step plan of working toward Victory Hair or follow mine. I recommend starting up a light conversation followed by an offer to loan a book or other helpful item. Meet at a busy but fun restaurant and learn more about each other. Take it from there!

I get so frustrated with my cell phone. It seems that my aunt was trying to reach me, or rather was trying to reach my mom. Their brother, my uncle, passed away and my aunt was trying to tell us.
With all the technology we have these days, why is it so hard to make a phone call? It must have been frustrating for my aunt to need to talk to someone and not be able to get through.

I cannot believe I have not told about our experience selling at the flea market. It was an experience. I put it right up there with yard sales. A lot of work for little return. I think if we sold our bags at a craft fair, we would have more sales. Who really knows. I am still glad we had the experience. We had a lot of fun and enjoyed being together. My sister said her feet hurt pretty bad. I think having great shoes helped me. I felt no pain whatsoever. That’s what happens when you wear your SweatyBetty fit flops.
After wearing your FitFlops, you will notice that your leg muscles look toned. The micro wobbleboard™ technology that is used in FitFlops makes them a dream to wear. Your legs receive a workout while you wear FitFlops. There was no greater place to test out FitFlops but the cement floors of the convention center where we worked at the flea market. I walked a zillion miles to check out what other vendors were selling and to get to the restrooms. Flea markets are not for wimps. If you have an occasion where you will be standing on cement and/or doing a lot of walking, I recommend you wear your SweatyBetty FitFlops. I think they are very pretty in all their beautiful colors.

I have had so much success with Entrecard. This site has introduced me to so many great bloggers. There are so many blogs that I simply have to read each day. I feel like I know these people. I am drawn to the blogs who write about their kids, cooking and every day life. I suppose it is because they experience their days much the way I do!
If there is one thing I could recommend to those who use Entrecard, it would be to keep your avatar the same. Don’t change it once you make it something that is recognizable. I hate to admit this but I don’t know the names of some of the blogs I read but I sure do know their Entrecard Avatar.
For example, look at JoanJoyce.com. Who can forget that great avatar! Oh, and the name of the blog is JoanJoyce.com, Making Cents and Scenes from the Philippines. I love that blog!

Yes Folks, it is Friday! Time for Four Foods on Friday sponsored by Val at Fun, Crafts and Recipes.
#1. When you need to serve desserts, do you buy them or make them?
I almost always make my own desserts. I will buy ice cream to have with cake and pie. I do buy sugar cream pie because it takes so long to stand and stir the liquid it takes to make a sugar cream pie. Too much work and the ones I buy are so good.
#2. When baking do you use butter, margarine or something else?
I use margarine unless I am making cookies. Cookies turn out so much better when I use real butter.
#3. What meats or veggies do you cook in the oven?
When I fry chicken, I finish cooking it in the oven. I can’t think of any veggies I cook in the oven.
#4. Share a recipe for anything that is cooked in an oven.
When I took my mom and aunt to eat at an Amish couples house Wednesday night, I got the recipe for the chicken we ate. It was so yummy.
Take boneless chicken breasts and dip them in egg. Dip in flour and then again in the egg. Then dip in a seasoned mixture ( darn if I can remember the name but it came from the grocery). Fry in a little bit of oil until slightly browned and then bake in the oven.

I grew up as an Air Force Brat. My dad fabricated with sheet metal. He was also an instructor who taught aircraft repair. His profession was useful after his retirement from the Air Force. He worked for a major airplane manufacturer and traveled to Saudi Arabia to teach sheet metal, honeycomb repair. This job allowed mom and dad to travel the world. I have a special place in my heart for the art of metal manufacturing.
My husband and I own a floor covering store. Everywhere we go we notice the floors. We don’t walk into any building without noting what kind of floor covering they used. I am sure it was that way with my dad. Take a moment and think how much custom metal fabrication is used throughout everything we see. Look at the ceiling the next time you attend a rock concert. Check out the benches in the park the next time you take the kids to play. While you are there, look at the floor of the merry-go-round. Yes, those are all made from fabricated metal. Accurate Perforating is a major manufacturer of perforated metal and materials. They are seriously dedicated to offering superior products and services. Accurate Perforating’s forming and fabricating capabilities are an art to be respected. You have heard the saying, “stop and smell the flowers.” Take a look at metal and notice the art in the fabrication. It is amazing.
