Showing Their Stuff at the Rodeo
Since reading a fellow blogger’s blog about living life on a ranch, I have become interested in all aspects of this tough but rewarding life. When I heard that they compete in a rodeo once a year, I was thrilled to see them enjoy their animals in a different way. They can be proud of the stamina it takes to do so well in the competitions. Their children have just begun participating in the rodeo. It has been amazing to see how they show off the talent they have learned from working with cattle and riding their horses every day. To me it was always play but now I understand how they are one with the animal as they do their work.
A rodeo is a great way for families to compete but there is another type of rodeo that intrigues me. The National Finals Rodeo is organized by the Professional Rodeo Cowboys Association. This rodeo is the premier championship rodeo event in the United States. Eight world champions are crowned in seven events.
