She Was So Close
Wednesday evening we were sitting at the dinner table when I looked up and saw a deer in the field behind our backyard. She was looking away from our house so I was able to walk into our backyard and take this picture. I could have gotten closer if our dogs had not run up to the fence and barked at her. She ran when she heard them. I love to see deer. They are so beautiful.

Wow, that is SO COOL! What a great photo!
I think deer are so pretty and every time I see them out and about I enjoy their beauty. I have family in SW Arkansas that I visit during the year. They have deer that wander up to their yard and eat their flowers. And interestingly enough, my family lives in a neighborhood with lots of homes around. There’s trees and woods every where so the deer hang out there most of the time. Great photo!
That’s awesome! I love seeing deer, and I really miss that, we don’t see any here.

Yes, it is very beautiful!
Good shot of the deer.
That is so lovely. I would absolutely love to live in a place where I could see this from my window. You are a lucky lady.
Nice shot!
I used to admire deer, until I became a gardener. Deer are eating machines on legs. They have eaten EVERYTHING. So I don’t like them anymore. Except with a little salt, heh heh.
That’s so pretty.
BTW — Karen — congratulations! You’ve won the FeeFiFoto Summer Fame Contest. Visit today’s blog post for instructions, and thanks for entering and blogging about it. Sharyn

How big IS your backyard?
Our land is almost 3 acres. The deer has been back each evening and is so much fun to watch.

It’s so beautiful. The biggest animal I’ve seen from my window was a couple of rabbits near a few trees. No deers around here.
