No More Candy Bars
One thing that I don’t miss since my kids are adults is fundraisers. Fundraisers were so much hassle. They could have been better if the organizations had better school fundraising ideas. When you have a good product or idea, it is easy to make money for your organization. The idea sells itself and the money begins to roll in. Schoolpop is known for its unique ideas. That is why they are a favorite for schools and other organizations when they need to raise funds.
Instead of trying to sell products or get sponsors to donate money, Schoolpop partners with large companies where we shop all the time. Supporters like you and I can shop at our favorite stores and a designated portion of the money we spend goes to the school or organization associated with the campaign. What a great idea!
You can read more about this wonderful idea on www.schoolpop.com

I’m going to have to remember this when I have kids of my own. When I was in high school, I had to go door to door selling raffle tickets and it was pretty tough convincing people to give me $25 for a book of them. What’s worse, we had sales quotas we had to meet, and if we didn’t, we had to sit around at school doing busy work while everyone else got a half day.
I definitely wouldn’t wish that upon anyone else’s kids!
