Juno
We finally watched a good movie. Juno was such a nice heartfelt movie about how a young girl copes when she finds she is pregnant at age 15. So many movies show the bad side of this situation. It is not the most desirable thing that a family wants to deal with but it happens. We can choose to make it into a big horrible deal or accept it for what it is and deal with it as a loving family. It was nice to see this family portrayed as a normal one. Instead of sugar coating everything, the movie gave another side to the situation. I enjoyed it. I loved the clothes that Juno wore. She looked so cute and comfy. I loved when her step mother told off the ultrasound technician who had a holier than you attitude. Boy, did she put her in her place. It was great. I enjoyed the love story about two young kids. Hubby and I started dating when I was 16 and this movie brought back some good memories. (I am not talking about memories of having sex in a chair. We didn’t do that stuff.)
