It Took a Good Book
My husband rarely takes the time to read. He has so many interests which are hands on. He loves to fish and is learning to tie flies. He will be leaving in a few weeks to go to southern Indiana to do some fly fishing. The abandoned coal quarries are now, wonderful fishing lakes. Anyway, he rarely reads as so he has surprised me lately because he has his nose in a book.
Lynn is reading Tony Dungee’s book, Quiet Strength. He has been filling me on parts of the book that are inspiring. Tony Dungee’s parents taught their kids how to stand on their own feet and learn to handle what life offers. It sounds like a great book and I can’t wait til Lynn is finished with it so I can read it.

I have read that book as well, and it is a GREAT one. His parenting advice seems so simple, yet many parents overlook some of the very basics he discusses. I can’t wait to hear your thoughts on it as well.
